Professor, Dean, CIU Business School, Head, Department of Accounting
Dr. Emon Kalyan Chowdhury is a distinguished Professor and Dean of the CIU Business School (CIUBS) at Chittagong Independent University (CIU), where he also serves as the Head of the Department of Accounting. He holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Chittagong, along with two MBAs specializing in Finance & Human Resource Management and Accounting & Information Systems.
Professor, Dean, School of Science and Engineering (SSE)
Dr. Aseef Iqbal is a distinguished Professor and the Dean of the School of Science and Engineering (SSE) at Chittagong Independent University (CIU), he also serves as Head of the Department of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechatronics Engineering from International Islamic University Malaysia
Professor in the Department of English at the School of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences (SLASS) at Chittagong Independent University (CIU). He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Islamic Science Malaysia (USIM) in 2023, with a dissertation focused on blended learning in English writing instruction, and holds a Master of Arts in Practice of English Language Teaching from the University of Hertfordshire, UK. As a seasoned educator and researcher.
Assistant Dean & Assistant Professor, School of Law (SoL)
Ms. Nazneen Akter is currently working as the Assistant Dean and Assistant Professor at the School of Law, Chittagong Independent University (CIU). Bringing over 18 years of teaching experience, including 13 years in leadership capacities, she joined CIU on July 2, 2023. Currently a Ph.D. candidate at Binary University, Malaysia, Ms. Akter also holds an M.Phil. in Labour Law from the University of Chittagong
