CIU Celebrates Open Day Autumn 2026 in a Vibrant and Festive Atmosphere Chittagong Independent University (CIU) organized its Open Day for the Autumn 2026 Semester on 17 August 2026, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere across the campus. The Honorable Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. M. M. Nurul Absar, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest while Deans, faculty members, the Registrar, administrative officials, staff and students were also present at the event. The Vice Chancellor officially inaugurated the Open Day by cutting a ribbon and subsequently visited the different club stalls. His presence and interaction with the students provided them with immense encouragement and enthusiasm. The Open Day featured a diverse range of activities, including student club demonstrations, cultural performances, games, and various interactive activities. A total of 19 clubs from the four schools- CIU Business School (CIUBS), School of Science & Engineering (SSE), School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (SLASS), and School of Law (SoL) along with four central clubs, showcased their activities, initiatives, and achievements. Alongside the vibrant student activities, the Open Day provided prospective students with an opportunity to tour the campus, meet faculty members, explore academic facilities, and gain firsthand insights into university life at CIU. Eligible students, including those seeking credit transfers, also had the opportunity to complete spot admission during the event. The campus welcomed a large number of enthusiastic admission seekers and their guardians, who explored the university environment and engaged with faculty members, students, and representatives from different clubs and academic units. The Open Day 2026 successfully brought together the CIU community and prospective students in a lively celebration of student engagement, creativity, campus life, and academic opportunities, reflecting the vibrant spirit of Chittagong Independent University.
