The Department of Marketing at Chittagong Independent University prepares students to excel in the dynamic world of business through a comprehensive and industry-oriented curriculum. The program develops strong foundations in consumer behavior, branding, digital marketing, sales management, and market research, while emphasizing innovation, critical thinking, and ethical business practices. Through experiential learning, case studies, internships, and engagement with industry professionals, students gain practical insights and real-world exposure. The department nurtures future marketing leaders, entrepreneurs, and strategic decision-makers equipped to respond to evolving market demands and contribute effectively to local, national, and global business environments.

Program Education Objectives (PEOs)

| PEO1 | Integrative knowledge in Marketing and different functional areas of business within the context of sustainability: The students are expected to be able to exhibit an appropriate blend of knowledge in the field of marketing as well as to integrate knowledge of different functional areas of business in order to solve the complex and ambiguous problems. |

They will be able to build and sustain high-performing teams by infusing a variety of perspectives, talents, and skills. They should also be able to foster collaboration, communication and adaptability in helping organization excels in a changing landscape. |
