Introduction

Md. Hasnath Kabir Fahim is an advocate, academic and legal researcher, currently serving as a Lecturer of Law at Chittagong Independent University. He completed his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons.) and Master of Laws (LL.M) with first class first position in both. He further obtained a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Genocide Studies from the University of Dhaka. Mr. Fahim is also an enrolled lawyer of the High Court Division, Supreme Court of Bangladesh. His areas of research include criminal justice, criminology, international humanitarian law, genocide studies and refugee law. His papers are published in referred journals from home and abroad.
