Department of Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English

Our B.A. in English programme is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge required for careers where proficiency in English is essential. The curriculum offers a rich blend of literary studies, covering a wide range of genres through both survey and specialized courses that focus on particular periods, themes, and forms.

In addition to literature, students engage in courses on language and English language teaching, preparing them for careers in schools and intermediate colleges where both language and literature play a vital role.
