A group of faculty members and students from the Department of International Business, School of Business and Entrepreneurship (SBE), Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), visited Chittagong Independent University (CIU) on Thursday, 25 June 2026 for an academic exposure visit aimed at fostering knowledge exchange and strengthening inter-university collaboration. The team was led by Professor Dr. Nazrul Islam, along with Dr. Safayet Rahman, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of International Business; Mr. Hanif Mahtab, Assistant Professor, and Mr. Syed Sharaf Mustayin, Lecturer, Department of International Business, School of Business and Entrepreneurship (SBE), IUB. The delegation was warmly received by faculty members of the CIU Business School, including Professor Dr. Mohammad Nayeem Abdullah, Professor Dr. Mosleuddin Chowdhury Khaled, Ms. Umme Humaira, and Mr. Naveed Ahmed Chowdhury. They were also joined by Mr. Li Shikuo, Chinese Instructor at the Confucius Institute Chinese Language Teaching Site at CIU, along with other university officials. During the visit, the IUB students explored CIU’s academic environment, learning facilities, and campus, while engaging in meaningful interactions with CIU faculty members. The visit provided an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen academic ties, and foster collaboration between the two institutions. CIU remains committed to promoting academic engagement and collaborative learning through partnerships and inter-university exchange initiatives.
