As part of the Cleanliness Campaign: Promoting Sustainable Cleanliness Practices in Schools, Chittagong Independent University (CIU), with the support of Youngone Corporation, organized an engaging awareness session at Kazem Ali School and College on 7 October 2026. The session was attended by Mr. Anirban Barua, Lecturer, School of Science & Engineering, Ms. Nusrat Shanaz Hoque, Assistant Registrar, CIU and Member Secretary of the Campaign Committee and Oasiatul Marifa Efti, Officer, PR & Communications. Mr. Borhan Uddin Chowdhury, the school’s Principal and Mr. Lutful Kabir Bhuiyan, the school’s Vice Principal and the school’s focal person for this campaign, were also present in the session. The session was interactive and engaging. Around 53 students actively participated in the discussion and responded to the speakers. Following the awareness session, waste bins were handed over to the school as part of the campaign’s initiative.
