CIU Inaugurates Country’s First Case Writing Center (CCWC)! Chittagong Independent University (CIU) proudly inaugurated the CIU Case Writing Center (CCWC) on 30 April 2026, becoming the first university in Bangladesh to establish a dedicated case writing center. The Center was officially inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Aameir Alihussain, Managing Director of BSRM, through the unveiling of the official logo of CCWC. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. M. M. Nurul Absar chaired the inauguration ceremony and delivered the closing remarks. Welcome remarks were delivered by Prof. Dr. Syed Manzur Quader, Dean of CIU Business School. Ms. Iffat Ishrat Khan, Acting Director of CCWC, presented the introduction, vision, and strategic objectives of the Center. Globally recognized case research leaders Dr. Michael Goldman, Associate Dean, University of San Francisco, Chair of the Case Research Foundation (USA), and Past President of the North American Case Research Association (NACRA) and Ms. Vicky Lester, CEO of The Case Centre, UK located at Cranfield University virtually joined to celebrate this landmark event. Mr. Omar Sharif, Head of Chattogram Banking at HSBC also addressed the audience. This landmark initiative marks a significant milestone in advancing case-based teaching, research, and industry–academia collaboration in the country.
