The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Chittagong Independent University (CIU), Professor Dr. M. M. Nurul Absar, recently paid a courtesy visit to the hon’ble Chairman of the Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC), Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtar Hossain Khan, at his office. During the meeting, they had a fruitful discussion on matters of mutual interest, particularly accreditation, quality assurance, academic excellence, and the continuous improvement of higher education. They also shared their views on how universities can further strengthen academic standards and build a stronger culture of quality and excellence. The hon’ble Vice Chancellor also highlighted CIU’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of its academic programs and quality assurance practices in line with national accreditation requirements and international standards. During the meeting, the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor also extended a cordial invitation to the Hon’ble BAC Chairman to visit Chittagong Independent University (CIU).
