CIU also offers merit scholarships/tuition fee scholarships in the following categories:
Undergraduate Program
- Academic Board Merit Scholarship (25% to 100%)
For National Curriculum Students:
The assessment bars for the scholarships based on their academic board results (SSC and HSC examinations) are as follows:

Graduate Program
- Research Assistantship;

- MBA Admission Fee Waiver (Tk.10,000/-) only for the CIU students (completed an undergraduate degree from CIU and willing to study in the MBA program);
- 40% Professional Scholarship in MBA Program for the Professionals and IEB Members;
- 50% Merit Scholarship is applicable in the MBA Program from the 1st semester based on previous undergraduate results (CGPA: 3.90-4.00) and onward throughout the MBA Program based on their semester results (CGPA 3.90 on the scale of 4.00 with four-course loads in each academic session);
- MA in English Admission Fee Waiver (Tk. 5,000/-) only for the CIU BA (Honours) in English graduate students (completed the BA in English program from CIU and willing to study in the MA program).
- LLM Admission Fee Waiver (Tk. 5,000/-) only for the CIU LLB Graduate students (completed LLB program from CIU and willing to study in the LLM program);
