Cleanliness Campaign at Saint Scholastica’s Girls’ School and College As part of the Cleanliness Campaign: Promoting Sustainable Cleanliness Practices in Schools, Chittagong Independent University (CIU), with the support of Youngone Corporation, organized an engaging awareness session at Saint Scholastica’s Girls’ School and College on 1 October 2026. The session was attended by Ms. Anjuman Banu Lima, Registrar, CIU, Mr. Ahsikul Mahmud Erfan, Lecturer, CIU Business School, and Ms. Nusrat Shanaz Hoque, Assistant Registrar, CIU and Member Secretary of the Campaign Committee. Ms. Anjuman Banu Lima and Mr. Ahsikul Mahmud Erfan addressed the students, sharing practical insights on maintaining cleanliness in their daily lives and emphasizing the importance of responsible waste disposal. Sr. Roma Christina Costa, RNDM, Vice Principal of Saint Scholastica’s Girls’ School and College; Ms. Dipika Bose, the school’s focal person for the campaign; and teachers Mr. Mohammad Zaeid, Ms. Aishi Barua Jui were also present at the session. The session was interactive and engaging. Around 65 students actively participated in the discussion and responded to the speakers. Following the awareness session, waste bins were handed over to the school as part of the campaign’s initiative.
