Organized by the National Debate Federation Bangladesh (NDF BD), Chattogram Zone, in this unique debating event Under the theme “I Am the Best in the World Cup,” a number of enthusiastic participants from CIU and other reputed institutions of Chattogram participated. Through a combination of logic, presentation skills, and spontaneous analytical thinking, the participants showcased their talents in this innovative competition to establish their favourite football team as the best in the World Cup. Following the debate session, a Kahoot Quiz Competition was arranged for the participants, adding excitement and creating a festive atmosphere throughout the event. Speakers of the program included Mr. AKM Shoaib, Chairman of NDF BD, Professor Dr. Emon Kalyan Chowdhury, Convener of the Outreach Committee, Chittagong Independent University; Ms. Anjuman Banu Lima, Registrar of Chittagong Independent University; and Mr. Jewel Chowdhury, Co-Chairman of NDF BD. The event concluded with the distribution of awards among the winners from Chittagong Independent University, University of Chittagong, University of Science and Technology and Chittagong Ispahani Public School and College. On behalf of CIU, Ms. Anjuman Banu Lima received a token of appreciation from NDF BD in recognition of the university’s support and collaboration while Professor Dr. Emon Kalyan Chowdhury was also present.
