KDS Group, one of Bangladesh’s leading industrial conglomerates with a strong presence in the textile and ready-made garments (RMG) export sector, conducted an on-campus recruitment program at Chittagong Independent University (CIU) on 18 June 2026 for the position of Management Trainee (Merchandising). A total of 83 CIU Business School graduates took part in the recruitment drive, showing strong interest in building careers in the dynamic apparel and manufacturing industry. The first round of interviews was conducted on campus by Mr. Subir Das, AGM–HR & Admin, KDS Garment Division, and Mr. Gunjan Deb, Assistant Manager–HR & Admin, KDS Garment Division, giving candidates a valuable opportunity to present their skills, analytical thinking, and overall career readiness in a real recruitment setting. Following this on-campus evaluation, a group of promising candidates has been shortlisted for the final round of interviews at KDS. The Career Guidance, Placement and Alumni Relations (CGP&AR) Office at CIU is actively exploring partnerships with a wide range of organizations to further expand on-campus recruitment opportunities for CIU Alumni.
